Everyone

• Get GitHub access: We have GitHub organisation for lab-wide projects, ask Ginevra to add you to the organisation
• Get MyFiles (shared cloud folder) access: We have a shared folder on UU’s cloud for lab-wide projects, anyone in the group can add you
• Get Drive folder + Google calendar access: We have a drive folder for shared presentations and google calendar for lab events (including various studies), anyone in the group can add you
• Get your profile in the lab website: send to Lux a picture of yourself (better if squared and .jpg) alongside a description of yourself and your personal website (if you have one)
• Get access to Slack workspace: anyone can add you
• Get access to lab servers for ML training, etc.: Ask Marc to add you

PhD students

PhD students at UU have two different accounts, one ‘employee’ account that is created your first day here that you will use for everything and one ‘student’ account that you have to create and you will use for the courses that you have to attend.

New to Sweden

• Apply to get a personal number as soon as possible: Skatteverket.se
  • After that, apply to get an ID card
  • After that, get a bank account and get Bank ID
• Swedish for academics course: apply as soon as the applications open (it’s hard to get a spot)
• Försäkringskassan (Health Insurance)
